Ever since I rearranged my bedroom and created a space for our laundry hamper and rearranged the kitchen and created a space for the other laundry hamper, I have been really keeping up with all the dirty laundry!
The problem is that I haven’t been folding it. The good news is that it isn’t in my bedroom.
The bad news is that it was in my living room.
But no more! See? There’s not a lick of laundry anywhere in my living room!
Last week I folded (with the help of my loving mother!) a TON of laundry, kept out certain items that were too small or off-season, and even game some items to the thrift store. Now our clean laundry is properly purged and put away! And now there are NO piles of laundry in my house — clean OR dirty!
Other items on my to-do list that I’ve accomplished in the last two weeks:
- list my mom’s dining set on craig’s list - done and sold!
- clean off my back porch from leftover yard sale items - almost done!
- DEEP CLEAN the hall bath.
Things to work on for this week:
- Clean up both kids rooms and purge toys for the church and thrift store.
- Finish taking the rest of the stuff on the back porch to the thrift store.
- Finish cleaning up the office/guest room.
It feels good to purge and de-clutter. But better than that, I know my husband appreciates having it picked up and de-cluttered, too. Accomplishing that for him feels even better.
