Menu Plan Monday
Another week has come and gone. We’re that much closer to Christmas – Yay! Are you ready? I’ve been in the mood for soups and stews and warm things a lot lately, with the finally-appropriate-for-winter weather we have been having. But I have been seriously craving pizza lately so I think I’m gonna HAVE to work that in! Let’s see what I can cook up for this week’s menu:
Monday: Dinner at Mother-In-Law’s
Tuesday: Homemade Pizza and Cherry Limeades, Salads
Wednesday: Tacos, Spanish Rice, Pico de Gallo
Thursday: Baked Potato Soup w/Cheese and Bacon Bits
Friday: Meatloaf, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Bread
Saturday: Spaghetti, Salad, Bread
Sunday: Breakfast for Dinner
Recipe Review: Last week I made a Minestroni, well I actually made two – one for me and one for Big Daddy – and it was really good! It made a good amount of leftovers for lunch, too. It was basically a tomato sauce and beef bouillon base, with seashell pasta, ground beef, potatoes, kidney beans, garbanzo beans and green beans for Big Daddy and additionally, zucchini, corn, and carrots for mine. I made cornbread to go with it and they were really good together. I’ll be adding it to our list of approved meals.

Your menu for the week makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Comfort food in cold weather is just the best.
Check me out if you have a chance.
Happy eating!
