I’m flattered! (And kinda scared, too!)
The powers that be at 5 Minutes for Mom have selected eleven finalists for the Ultimate Blog Party banner design. Check it out - I’m number 8!! I’m excited but I have to admit that I really think some of the other designs are going to give me a run for my money. However, it’s not up to me. And it’s not up to 5 Minutes for Mom, either.
No, this time the winner is up to you!!
The winner in this case gets the satisfaction of seeing her design used for this year’s Ultimate Blog Party. So if you feel so inclined, hop on over and vote for me. 
Please, please, pretty-please with homemade buttercream frosting, whipped topping, chocolate sprinkles, almond slivers, maraschino cherries and colored sugar sprinkled on top?
I had so much fun working on this. Big Daddy sat down on the couch with me and we worked side by side to smoothe out all the quirks and create a good design. (I won’t even show you my first draft before he helped me! It would NOT have made it as a finalist.) We had a couple of moments where we both thought of the same idea at the same time! (I told him that just proves that great minds think alike!) He didn’t have to help me, and it was kind of out of character for him, so it was extra special that he spent that time with me - time that he would have spent working on his website for his ebook that he just finished. I’m happy with our design, but I’m afraid I’m a little biased.
