MPM & Monday Meanderings

A lot of time lately has been spent setting up my other blog, and where I can fit it in, I’ll continue working on that this week, too. If you haven’t, check out this post to find out more and contribute your two cents. Here’s all the other stuff on my plate for this week:

mondaymeander2.jpg

1.) Bible Study: Morning devotions using this site to study my bible chronologically. Also, catching up on the sermon I missed this Sunday via podcast and working on scripture memorization.

2.) “MUST Do” List:

  • Stick to my daily schedule (as God allows) for morning devotions, taking care of the home and home-schooling.
  • Finish organizing papers & bills, especially taking care of the Action pile.
  • Finish organizing Princess’ worksheet binder for school.
  • Rotate out most of the winter clothes and rotate in some of the spring clothes. (Didn’t get to this last week.)
  • Prepare to travel to my mom’s for Easter; make preparations for Big Daddy while we’re gone.
  • Iron Big Daddy’s clothes for each day, as a labor of love.

3.) Taking Care of My Home:

Daily Chores and then focus on these areas for weekly chores:

  • Monday - Kitchen; Wash Lights
  • Tuesday - Dining Room; Wash Darks
  • Wednesday - Living Room; Wash Towels & Little Prince’s Bedding
  • Thursday - Sunday we’ll be at my mom’s.

4.) Training My Children:

Daily basics, Life Lessons from the Princess and the Kiss, Easter devotions.

5.) Menu Plan Monday:

  • Monday - Yogurt, fruit; Sandwich Wraps, Veggies, Ranch; Fruit Salad; Chicken, Fettuccine Alfredo, Steamed Veggies
  • Tuesday - Biscuits, Gravy, Turkey Bacon, Fruit; Tuna Helper, Veggies ; Cottage Cheese & Fruit; Meatloaf, Veggies, Salad
  • Wednesday - Cereal & Fruit; Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup; Yogurt & Fruit; Homemade Pizzas & Salad & Cherry Limeades

In case we don’t make it to my mom’s (there’s a slight chance), I’m planning for the following. But ideally, I won’t be here and I’ll have some special things in the fridge for hubby to eat while I’m gone:

  • Thursday - Oatmeal & Fruit, Chicken Salad Sandwiches & Sliced Veggies; Granola Bars; Spaghetti, Salad; Homemade Bread
  • Friday - Cereal & Fruit; Taco Salad (w/ corn chips); Homemade “Lunchables,” Sliced Fruit; Pork Loin & Roasted Veggies
  • Saturday - Biscuits, Gravy, Turkey Bacon, Fruit; Tacos & Salsa Fresca; Fruit Smoothies; Lemon Pepper Chicken, Pasta, Salad
  • Sunday - Cereal; Fajitas & Spanish Rice; Oatmeal Cookies w/ Raisins & Pecans; Hamburgers, Pickles, Chips

Monday Meanderings is hosted by Tiany and Menu Plan Monday is hosted by Laura. Thanks ladies!
