Tackling Toilet Training
Today I’m attempting to toilet train my 2 1/2 year old. (Am I crazy?)
So all day today he has been running around in his little boy undies, cold turkey. (Have I completely lost my mind?)
Even in the midst of getting school done, giving Princess a practice math test, and doing all our chores. (Yup, I’ve lost my marbles.)
So far we’ve had zero successes and two three accidents. (Not a single marble left.)
Because apparently I love cleaning up accidents. (Bonkers.)
Can’t get enough of them. (Cuckoo.)
So all day today I’m hoping for a success AND trying to keep my house clean. (Completely. Off. The. Deep. End.)
Tackle it Tuesday hosted by 5 Minutes for Mom.

That’s a tough tackle! I don’t miss those days.

Don’t give up!! Have a dd 7yo son who wasn’t completely potty trained until the age of 6. Go to WalMart and buy a couple packs of those training underwear with the rubber pants on the outside. He get the same effect of the accident (wet pants) but you get far less cleanup!! I think I bought two packs (and they come 2 to a package) at WM then picked up every single pair I could get my hands on from consignment, second-hand and thrift shops, plus yard sales. I called every store, every few days, asking if they had any, then I would ask them to put my name on them an hold them for the few minutes it took me to get there to buy them. They are around $6-7 a 2-pack, but I got them for 99c a pair at the thrift shops!
I haven’t been out of this stage very long…
Keep at it!
